Actually I think he forgot that foreigners do not get an instant Singaporean citizenship. I believe that period of time is longer than NS. So he still have an advantage if he wants to leave the country for greener pastures

I only knew about the towers being built by 2 different companies - the Japanese one made Tower 1 lean 25mm from the vertical. And the bridge has explosive bolts, so that it doesn't drag one tower down when the other collapses.
